stuff i likeYou might have heard of Color – the app that got a whopping $41 million in pre-launch startup funding. Well, you already know what I think about bubbly internet startups.

Anyway, there is another app called Pixamid doing something very similar to Color. It lets you share pictures with all your friends (or everyone if you like) present at the same event; for example a party, a seminar or a sport event. Yesterday Pixamid got featured in the iPhone app store in 10 markets. Business Insider writes “This New iPhone Photo Sharing App Just Beat Color At Its Own Game” and TechCrunch states that “Pixamid is what Color should be”. I couldn’t agree more which is fun since one of the investors and several team members are friends of mine and well worth the attention they currently get.
